Our pioneering model

Opened in September 2022, Feltham College is an exemplar of innovative and truly comprehensive post-16 education.

A-Level and BTEC Courses at Reach Academy 6th Form
Reach Academy Feltham has a sixth form called Feltham College, a pioneering partnership with two local independent schools; Hampton School and Lady Eleanor Holles. At Feltham College we are committed to offering a comprehensive, traditional, and academic suite of A-Level subjects alongside select BTEC courses. Our our students gain access to exceptional destinations including competitive university courses and high-quality apprenticeships that will enable them to choose a rewarding career path and enjoy a life of choice and opportunity.
Course Selection for 2024-25
The 2024-25 academic year features A-Level courses in English Literature, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History, Geography, French, Spanish, Psychology, and more. We also offer Level 3 BTEC courses in Health and Social Care and Business.

Mixed Pathways and Additional Qualifications
We recognise that every student’s academic journey is unique, and thus we offer the flexibility to undertake a ‘mixed pathway’, combining BTEC and A-Level qualifications. Furthermore, all students have access to non-examined provision each week, including Team Reach (our PSHE and Citizenship provision), Reach Scholar Studies, and Elective courses. Students can also opt to take the EPQ or a ‘Fundamentals in Finance’ professional qualification. Every student at Feltham College also benefits from a varied sports and enrichment programme including options from basketball to cooking and photography.
Course Duration and Assessment
Courses span two years, with internal examinations at the end of Year 1 for A-Level subjects. These examinations determine students’ suitability to progress to Year 13 and help generate predicted grades for university applications. BTEC students will sit two external examinations in Year 12, which contribute to their final grade. All external exams for A-Level subjects occur at the end of the second year of study and make up 100% of the final grade, except for subjects with a coursework element such as History, English, Geography, and languages.
At Reach Academy 6th Form, we are dedicated to facilitating a comprehensive and enriching academic experience, equipping our students with the knowledge and qualifications they need to pursue lives of choice and opportunity.
