Our exciting pre-school for 2-4 year olds at Reach Academy Feltham

A world of choice and opportunity for our youngest students

We believe that each of our pupils is unique and has the potential to do brilliantly at Nursery. As teachers, we will work extremely hard with you and your child to ensure that you and they are well supported. We know that hard work will lead to success, but we also know that school can be enjoyable, exciting and interesting every day when it has great teachers, supportive parents and well-behaved pupils.

Our aim is that all of our children will be able to succeed at university and beyond and live a life of choice and opportunity. In order to help them to achieve this in whichever school they go to after Nursery, we have designed an Early Years curriculum which supports your child to grow academically, emotionally and socially, into a well-rounded, confident child who is ready to start Reception in any school.

At Reach we are committed to working closely with parents to support them, as well as support children to flourish in the school. This year we have experimented with offering a full day at Reach for pupils eligible for 30 hours. We have made the decision that for next academic year we will return to offering either a morning or an afternoon slot for children in the Nursery..

Please note that from 15th September 2026, the Nursery session timings will be as follows:

  • Nursery AM: 8:20am – 11:20am
  • Nursery PM: 12:20pm – 3:20pm
  • Nursery All Day: 8:20am – 3:20pm

Each day in Nursery includes:

  • Three taught sessions including a phonics and reading session, a Maths session and a song;
  • ‘Busy learning’ where children choose what they want to do and can be inside or outside;
  • Small group sessions with the teacher or key person.

Please note that a place at the Reach Nursery does not guarantee a place at Reach Academy Feltham in Reception.  It is a parent’s responsibility to apply for a school place.  You can find more information here: http://www.hounslow.gov.uk/primary_schools_admissions

Fees
We only provide funded places (provided a parent confirms their eligibility for a funded place) and parents cannot purchase additional hours. 

Meals
Lunch is charged at £3 per day for children attending from 8.20-3.20pm. We encourage all children to have a hot cooked meal made by our wonderful catering team, if a parent wishes to bring a packed lunch this must be discussed with the Admissions lead.

Charges for additional items/consumables
We do not charge for additional activities or consumables.
