Primary Clubs
We are delighted to be able to offer you a wealth of extra-curricular options for your child(ren).
Extra-curricular clubs
We have a diverse range of extra-curricular options for our Primary pupils throughout the academic year and we encourage as many people to sign up to these great opportunities to extend their skills and learning.
Club Timings and Dates
All primary clubs run from 15.30 – 16.30.
Cycle 1 will be 13 weeks long, except Mondays which will be 12 weeks long.
This starts on Monday 14th September and finishes on Friday 18th December.
*FSM – Entitled to Free School Meals.

Costs
The prices of clubs vary depending on the activity. All prices can be found above and are payable via the MCAS app.
Please note that there will not be any refunds for pupil illness or if a child cannot attend their club (including if they are on a trip or residential). Some clubs are free and may have sessions cancelled throughout the cycle due to staffing and spacing. If this occurs, then you will be notified as soon as possible.
Most clubs will take place outside, even if weather conditions are poor. If there is no choice but to cancel the club due to weather, you will not receive a refund.
How to sign up
Clubs are allocated on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to sign your child up for a club, you can do this on the MCAS app. If you sign your child up on this app, they will automatically have a place in this club.
Dismissal after clubs
Years Reception – Year 6 will be dismissed from the secondary playground promptly after their club. Please ensure your child is collected promptly or they will be placed in Kid Space on an emergency charge of £10.
Clothing for clubs
Full Reach PE kit is required for sports clubs and children will be dismissed in their PE kit.
Non-sports clubs will take place in school uniform.
Strike System
In Years 1-6 we operate a 2 strike system. If your child’s behaviour is disruptive or inappropriate within a club then they will receive a strike. The first strike is a warning, however if your child receives a second strike in a cycle then they will not be allowed to continue with that specific club during that cycle and no refunds will be offered.
Food Prior to Clubs
Students are welcome to bring a snack to eat before their club starts. Students are only allowed to bring fruit or vegetables to eat. If their snack is not a fruit or vegetable, they will not be able to eat it until after their club.
